Nigerian music star Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid, stirred social media on Wednesday after a video of him politely asking a female fan not to get too close went viral. During his ladies-only party in London on Tuesday, the Grammy-winning artist reminded the fan and the crowd that he is a married man with children.
The viral video shows Wizkid surrounded by excited female fans, with one fan attempting to get unusually close.
Interrupting his performance, Wizkid addressed the fan, saying, “Baby, I’m a married man, don’t come close to me, I’m married, my kids are at home.”
His remarks instantly sparked reactions across various social media platforms. Many users debated whether Wizkid’s words were a genuine expression of loyalty to his family or an unnecessary snub to his fans.
