Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has sparked controversy online after posting a video of her billionaire husband and senator, Ned Nwoko, in a bathroom scene that many Nigerians have described as “disrespectful” and “embarrassing.”
The video, which Daniels shared early in the morning around 5:30 a.m., showed Nwoko entering a restroom while the actress filmed. Although she strategically covered his private parts with her body and the word “mine” written on the screen, viewers were shocked by the post’s boldness.
What drew more criticism was her choice of background audio — a trending Nollywood TikTok soundtrack with the lyrics: “If you kill your husband, you no go suffer. Husband is useless, yeye man must die. Kill your husband, make your life better.”
Daniels captioned the clip: “Not me planning to make a video that will piss off my oga at the top, only for him to be the main character. How will I settle this one now? Me, I sha post my thing #tiktoktrend.”
The post immediately went viral, drawing mixed reactions from fans and celebrities. While some praised Daniels for being playful and authentic, others slammed her for showing a lack of respect toward her husband, who is a sitting senator.

One Instagram user wrote: “So disrespectful! This is a whole Senator!” Another added: “It’s shameful! To showcase a serving senator this way is completely unacceptable.”
However, others defended the actress, insisting that what she did was harmless. A user, @myhairven, commented: “Her husband, her page, her choice.” Another, @morgan.jj101, wrote jokingly: “Billionaire wife post, poor man’s wife is advising her.”
Veteran actor Femi Branch also weighed in on the issue, saying: “Did you not see Uncle Ned here in the comment section? Who are you to determine how a husband and wife catch their cruise?!”
Some fans also suggested that Nwoko was aware of the recording before it was shared. One comment read: “He saw the video recording and still brought it out. I didn’t even see anything, so everyone should rest.”
Reacting to the backlash, Regina Daniels posted another video later in the day. Lying on her bed and wearing the same outfit but with makeup on, she fired back at her critics.
In the caption, she wrote: “Please, your talks shouldn’t make my odogwu think about anything. You will not stop my alert this Monday morning from my sweet man.”
The actress, known for her bold social media presence, has yet again divided public opinion — with some calling her confident and others accusing her of crossing the line of decency.
