Manchester United are making a strong push to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen this summer and are reportedly willing to sacrifice one of their young talents to land the €75 million-rated forward.
According to GiveMeSport, United have made Osimhen a priority target and are prepared to trigger his release clause to bring him to Old Trafford. The 25-year-old striker, currently with Galatasaray on loan, has been in outstanding form this season, scoring 22 goals and providing five assists in 28 matches across all competitions.
The race for Osimhen’s signature is heating up, with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) also in the mix. The French club has shown interest in the Nigerian forward in the last two transfer windows and is expected to make another move for him in the summer. Journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu recently reported that both Manchester United and PSG have made verbal offers to Osimhen and are prepared to meet his release clause.

Meanwhile, Italian outlet CalcioMercato has revealed that Manchester United are willing to part ways with one of their strikers to facilitate Osimhen’s arrival. The report suggests that Napoli, Osimhen’s parent club, is open to negotiations and is considering a swap deal involving United’s Danish striker Rasmus Højlund.
Napoli Sporting Director Giovanni Manna is said to be “carefully evaluating this opportunity,” but the final decision rests with head coach Antonio Conte. While Napoli has also shown interest in Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee, the club sees Højlund as a more feasible option.
