Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has vowed to take new legal action against her colleague, Lizzy Anjorin, over alleged defamatory remarks and threats directed at her family.
Ojo made the declaration in a long Instagram post on Monday, months after a Lagos High Court struck out her ₦1 billion defamation suit against Anjorin on procedural grounds. The court also ordered Ojo’s lawyer, Olabimpe Ajegbomogun, to pay ₦500,000 in costs to Anjorin’s counsel, Ademola Olabiyi.
The two actresses have been involved in a bitter feud that has played out on social media and in courtrooms. Anjorin has repeatedly mocked Ojo in Facebook live videos, sparking parody skits on TikTok and Facebook.
Ojo, however, said she had remained silent on legal advice.

“My legal team isn’t sleeping. They are taking note of everything. A wise person listens to learned counsel. Everything has its timing,” she wrote.
She expressed concern over the impact of the feud on her family.
“The insults, curses, even death wishes Liz has directed at my family, especially my grandson, are heartbreaking. Most times, I struggle to hold my peace, but I choose to ignore the distractions. Who God has blessed, no one can curse,” Ojo said.
She added that she had been focused on welcoming her first grandchild and supporting her daughter but would take firmer steps once back in Lagos.
The dispute worsened earlier this year when Ojo accused Anjorin of being responsible if anything happened to her or her family. The claim came after a fire broke out at Ojo’s Lagos office, an incident her daughter, Priscilla, linked to threats they had received, including a letter alleging their movements were being monitored.
Ojo has previously said her fallout with Anjorin began after she publicly showed support for Folashade Tinubu, the wife of Anjorin’s husband, which she claimed triggered the attacks.
The long-running rivalry—marked by lawsuits, police petitions, and online battles—remains one of Nollywood’s most heated feuds.
