Pastor William Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM), has been invited to attend the second inauguration of Donald Trump as President of the United States. The event is scheduled for January 20, 2025, in Washington, D.C., where global leaders will gather to witness the historic occasion.
The invitation was revealed in a statement by A. Larry Ross Communications, a U.S.-based communications agency. Pastor Kumuyi will not only attend the inauguration but also participate in critical discussions with U.S. lawmakers, church leaders, and media representatives. These conversations will focus on issues facing the global Christian community.
In addition, Pastor Kumuyi is set to engage in interviews between January 17 and 27 in Washington, D.C. He will address topics such as the “Global Shift in Christianity,” “Global Leadership for 2025,” and “Faith in Practice.”
Pastor Kumuyi praised Donald Trump for his dedication to Christian values during his first term, highlighting the former president’s efforts to champion international religious freedom.
Reflecting on Trump’s leadership, Kumuyi said, “President Trump’s stand for the gospel is not without recognition, not just by American Christians, but all Christians globally.”

He commended Trump’s groundbreaking initiatives, including hosting the first-ever meeting of foreign ministers dedicated solely to international religious freedom. In addition to Pastor Kumuyi’s engagements, renowned gospel artist Pastor Nathaniel Bassey is scheduled to minister at the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast. The event will feature prayers and worship to mark the beginning of Trump’s second term.
