Arla Foods Expands Nigerian Dairy Market with Two New Products

Arla Foods has introduced two new dairy products, Dano Cool Cow and Dano Full Cream Evaporated Milk, into the Nigerian market. The company made the announcement during a recent launch event in Lagos, highlighting its commitment to providing Nigerians with high-quality and nutritious options.

The Managing Director of Arla Foods, Peder Pedersen, emphasized the careful planning and dedication that went into developing Dano Full Cream Evaporated Milk.

He stated, “Dano Evaporated Milk is a product that has been carefully crafted for the Nigerian market. Every step in its development has been focused on bringing the highest quality nutrition into homes across the country.”

The launch is part of Arla Foods’ effort to strengthen its position in Nigeria’s competitive dairy industry.

In partnership with the Tolaram Group, the two companies aim to deliver products that meet the nutritional needs of Nigerian families. Gaurav Dwivedi, the CEO of Multipro Consumer Products Limited (a Tolaram Group member), praised the partnership with Arla Foods, saying, “This launch goes beyond just introducing a new product; it showcases the strength of our partnership with Arla Foods and highlights the success of our joint efforts. We proudly deliver a product that embodies the values of nutrition, convenience, and trust that define the Dano brand.”

The event, which attracted a wide range of attendees including consumers, trade partners, distributors, retailers, and influencers, also featured popular Nigerian singer Johnny Drille, who provided entertainment. Guests enjoyed breakfast prepared using the newly launched Dano products.

Ifunanya Obiakor, the Head of Marketing for Arla West Africa, shared the company’s excitement about the new products, stating, “We know consumers have been eagerly awaiting these products. Crafted with care and commitment, we’re confident they will exceed expectations in both taste and nutrition.”

Arla Foods’ Category Manager for Liquid, Cheese, and Butter, Ndidi Okoye, echoed this sentiment.

“The promise of great taste and nutrition is finally here. We invite everyone to truly taste the Dano difference with these exciting new products,” Okoye said, adding that the brand is dedicated to elevating consumers’ experience with every product.
