The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released its timetable and fees for aspirants seeking to contest the 2026 Osun State governorship election, setting the nomination fee at ₦50 million.
In a statement signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, on Tuesday, the APC said the process would officially begin on October 3, 2025, with a notice of election to the state chapter. Membership register updates will take place between October 20 and 31, 2025.
“Members whose names appear on the Register and are up to date in paying their membership dues over the past year up to February 2025 will be eligible to vote and be voted for,” the statement read.
The sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms will open on November 12, 2025, while the deadline for submission is December 1, 2025.

The party also announced special concessions.
According to Argungu, “Female aspirants and persons with disabilities are to purchase only the Expression of Interest Form, while the Nomination Form is free. Youths between ages 25 and 40 will pay for the Expression of Interest Form and enjoy a 50% discount on the Nomination Form.”
The fees for the race includes expression of interest form ₦10 million, nomination form ₦40 million; total fees for governorship is ₦50 million; while the delegate form is ₦5,000
Forms will be available at the APC Directorate of Organization, National Headquarters in Abuja.
The timetable also covers delegate elections, aspirant screening, appeals, and the governorship primary.
“Congress to ratify the result of the Gubernatorial Primary Election will be in compliance with Article 84 (4)(b) & (c) of the 2022 Electoral Act (as amended),” the statement added.
The APC said the framework would help it conclude candidate selection well ahead of the Osun governorship poll in 2026.
