The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has remained silent amid widespread reports that Nigerian cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, was arrested on Monday by immigration officers at the Seme Border. The incident quickly became a hot topic on social media, sparking curiosity and speculation.
The rumors of Bobrisky’s arrest gained momentum after social media activist Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), shared the news on his Instagram page. In his post, VDM claimed that Bobrisky was apprehended by immigration officials while allegedly trying to flee into Benin Republic.
VDM shared a message from an unnamed source, stating, “Bobrisky was arrested this morning at Seme border on his way to escape to Benin Republic. He sent someone to help him sign his international passport, and he hid in his car. The Nigerian Immigration Service is currently holding him.”
