Popular Nigerian musician David Adeleke, famously known as Davido, has celebrated the first birthday of his twin children with his wife, Chioma. The award-winning artist marked the occasion by sharing a heartfelt post on social media.
Davido took to X.com (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday to announce the milestone, writing, “+1 Alhamdulillah,” followed by two baby emojis representing his twins. The post quickly gained traction, drawing thousands of congratulatory messages from fans, followers, and fellow celebrities.
The couple welcomed the twins—a boy and a girl—in October 2023 in the United States. Davido had previously expressed the joy and surprise he and Chioma felt upon discovering they were expecting twins. “We were in shock when we found out,” Davido shared in an interview last year, reflecting on the special moment.

The twins’ arrival came as a joyous chapter for the couple, following the tragic loss of their first son, Ifeanyi, in 2022. The birth of the twins brought a renewed sense of hope and happiness to Davido and Chioma, who have since kept much of their family life private.
