One of the domestic workers at the home of Aribemchukwu, the daughter of Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, has confessed to her involvement in the murder of her employer, according to a police source.
Aribemchukwu, also known as Chuchu, was reportedly killed at her residence in Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos. While her family believes she was killed on Tuesday night, her body was discovered on Wednesday morning outside the gate of her home.
The police have arrested three domestic workers, including the house help, a security guard, and a driver, in connection with the murder. During interrogation, the house help admitted to the crime.
“The deceased was killed in her room and her body was dragged to the front of the gate to make it look like she was killed on the spot. They tried to clean up the blood stains but missed some spots because it happened at night,” a police source said.

The suspects were also found to have packed all the valuables of the deceased after the murder. The police source revealed that the three domestic workers had been employed only a week before the incident.
Aribemchukwu was a doctor and had recently married before her tragic death.
