The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) announced that students from 36 state-owned tertiary institutions can now apply for student loans starting today, July 7, 2024.
This development comes as the management of these institutions have successfully submitted their student data to the NELFUND Student Verification System (SVS).
“We are pleased to inform students that they can now apply for loans. We urge other state-owned institutions to submit their student data promptly so their students can also benefit from this scheme.” a NELFUND representative stated.

The 36 institutions where students can now apply for loans include:
