Two planes collided on the runway at New York’s LaGuardia Airport on Wednesday night, officials confirmed.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey said the crash happened at 9:58 p.m. when one Endeavor Air jet was landing and another was preparing for takeoff. Endeavor Air is a regional carrier owned by Delta.
One flight attendant suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
“The injury was not life-threatening,” the Port Authority said.

Pictures shared by U.S. media showed visible damage to the nose of one aircraft. Delta later explained that the wing of a departing plane bound for Roanoke, Virginia, struck the fuselage of the arriving aircraft.
There were 93 passengers and crew on both planes. Despite the incident, operations at LaGuardia, one of the busiest airports in the United States, continued without interruption.
Delta described the incident as “a low-speed collision during taxi” and promised to work with authorities to review safety measures.
