Kylian Mbappé scored a stunning hat-trick as Real Madrid thrashed Kairat 5-0 in their UEFA Champions League clash at the Kassym-Jomart Stadium on Tuesday night.
The French star opened the scoring in the 26th minute from the penalty spot after Real settled into the game. Despite dominating possession, Madrid struggled to find a second goal in the first half, with Kairat’s goalkeeper Sherkhan Kalmurza pulling off key saves. He twice denied Rodrygo and also stopped a powerful strike from Jude Bellingham in added time.
The second half saw Real Madrid’s attack come alive. Mbappé made it 2-0 with a brilliant lob in the 56th minute before sealing his hat-trick in the 75th minute, putting the match out of reach for the home side.

“Mbappé was unstoppable tonight. His finishing and movement showed why he is one of the best players in the world,” a Madrid team official said after the match.
The win leaves Real Madrid top of their group with six points from two games. Eintracht Frankfurt trail with three points but have only played one match so far.
