Nigeria’s Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, has thrown his weight behind a Guinness World Record attempt designed to showcase President Bola Tinubu’s leadership achievements.
The project, called “Write-A-Thon”, is led by Shuaibu Ishaq and involves 72 hours of continuous political commentary under the theme “The Last Card: Why It Must Be Tinubu (Again).”
In a statement issued Monday in Abuja, Idris praised Ishaq for his effort to document Tinubu’s achievements despite what he described as opposition-driven misinformation.
“The minister commends your initiative which reflects creativity, resilience, and patriotism under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu. Your effort is recognised as a unique contribution to national discourse and cultural diplomacy,” the statement said.

Idris also restated the President’s commitment to economic reforms and applauded Ishaq’s courage in compiling the achievements into a book.
Reacting to the endorsement, Ishaq said he was delighted by the minister’s support and promised to continue highlighting Tinubu’s leadership strides.
“I remain committed to patriotism, and I urge Nigerians to support and appreciate the policies of the current administration,” Ishaq said.
The project comes just weeks after Chef Hilda Baci set a Guinness World Record for the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice, weighing 8,780 kilogrammes, in Lagos.
