American rapper Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., better known as DDG, has revealed plans to move to Lagos, Nigeria, amid his ongoing custody battle with ex-girlfriend Halle Bailey over their 17-month-old son, Halo.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), DDG expressed frustration with life in Los Angeles. “I’m so tired of living in LA. I can’t wait til I move to Lagos, Nigeria,” he wrote.
This is not the first time the rapper has spoken about leaving the US. In January 2025, he hinted that he was considering relocating to either London or Lagos, saying he was dissatisfied with life in America.

For now, DDG has not given details about when he plans to make the move, but his statement has stirred conversations among fans in Nigeria and abroad.
