President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated three Nigerian schoolgirls who won top prizes at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Competition held in London, United Kingdom.
The students, Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli, were praised for making Nigeria proud by emerging as global champions in English language communication and debate.
According to a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, 17-year-old Nafisa was named the overall best in English language skills, 15-year-old Rukayya won overall best in debate, while Hadiza received the Outstanding Talent Award (Gold Medal).

President Tinubu said their success is proof that Nigeria’s future is bright.
“These exceptional young Nigerians have shown the world the greatness within our youth,” he said.
He also praised their schools and states, saying their achievements show that Nigeria’s education system can produce some of the world’s brightest minds.
“President Tinubu believes that education is a critical element for national development. That’s why his administration is making big investments in education, including the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), to remove financial barriers for students from poor backgrounds,” Onanuga added.
The President encouraged Nafisa, Rukayya, and Hadiza to remain focused on their studies and wished them even greater success in the future.
