Kylian Mbappe is seeking €100 million from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) despite his upcoming move to Real Madrid. According to French outlet L’Equipe, PSG has not paid Mbappe his wages for April, May, and June. His contract expires on June 30, and the total amount owed is around €100 million.
The relationship between Mbappe and PSG has been strained since he refused to sign a new contract at the start of the 2023/24 season. This led to his temporary exclusion from the first team before he eventually returned. Now, Mbappe will leave PSG on a free transfer to join Real Madrid.
PSG commented on the situation, telling L’Equipe that “negotiations are continuing” between the two parties.
Currently, Mbappe is playing for France in Euro 2024. He assisted France’s only goal in their first game against Austria but did not play in the 0-0 draw with the Netherlands after breaking his nose.
