Fast-rising singer Ari Jay has released her debut single titled Apology, marking her official entry into the Nigerian music industry.
Ari Jay, who recently joined Jamika Entertainment after winning the Jamika Force music audition, shared that the new track is a blend of Afrobeats and R&B. She said she chose to start her music career with a love song because of her deep passion for romance.
“The song is inspired by love. I am a romantic at heart, and I just felt a love song should be my first official release. Apology is an infusion of Afrobeats and RnB elements. These are the styles I am used to” Ari Jay said.
Before now, Ari Jay was known by the stage name Timmy Jay. She now joins Jamika Entertainment’s list of stars including Yung Bos, Koredianx, and Church of Men.

Ari Jay hopes to carve out a space for herself among top female Nigerian artists.
“I want to break big into the music scene and set myself apart from greats like Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, and Ayra Starr,” she said.
Jamika Entertainment’s Head of Operations, Mr. Stanley Ihensekhien, expressed strong confidence in Ari Jay’s future.
“She is going to be a superstar and win awards locally and internationally, just watch and see,” he said.
He added that Ari Jay’s unique mix of traditional Yoruba folk singing and modern Afrobeats will help her stand out in the industry.
