Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen has turned down a huge offer from Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal, choosing to remain in Europe as more top clubs show interest in signing him.
Al Hilal offered Osimhen €120 million over three years, which is about €40 million per year, in hopes of making him their key player for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. But the Nigerian striker, who is currently on holiday in Nigeria, said no to the big-money move.
According to French sports outlet Foot Mercato, “The offer was quite impressive but ultimately did not convince the player.”
The report added that Osimhen “has decided to reject Al Hilal’s offer and now wishes to take his time before choosing his next club.”
This is the third time Osimhen has turned down Al Hilal’s attempts. Italian outlet Calciomercato confirmed he previously rejected yearly offers of €30 million, €35 million, and most recently, €45 million.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Onyebuchi Onokala, a close source to Osimhen, said:
“Victor Osimhen officially turns down Saudi club Al Hilal first offer. It was the same offer they made last year.”

Onokala also revealed that a top Italian club is ready to pay Osimhen what he wants, while Turkish champions Galatasaray are also strongly pushing to sign him. Reports say Galatasaray offered a new salary of €26 million per year and are not worried about meeting his release clause.
Osimhen had an impressive loan spell at Galatasaray in the past, scoring 37 goals in 41 matches, and the club wants to bring him back permanently.
Meanwhile, football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Osimhen rejected a €75 million move to Al Hilal, even though Napoli had agreed to the deal with the Saudi club.
Romano posted: “Despite agreement between club to club with Napoli for €75m fee, Osimhen says no to the Saudi Pro League club. Galatasaray will insist on signing him with the race now open again.”
With Saudi riches on the table and European giants circling, Osimhen is carefully weighing his next move — but for now, he’s made it clear: he’s staying in Europe.
