Boxing star Anthony Joshua is now richer than England football captain Harry Kane and fellow heavyweight fighter Tyson Fury, according to the latest Sunday Times Rich List.
Joshua’s net worth has risen to €232 million, a €24 million increase from last year’s €208 million. This places him 24th among the UK’s wealthiest people under 40.
Despite this achievement, the 34-year-old is not the richest athlete on the list. That honour goes to golfer Rory McIlroy, whose net worth jumped to €304 million after winning the Masters and completing a career grand slam. McIlroy earned €3.68 million from that victory alone, bringing his total PGA Tour prize money to over €117 million.
Joshua’s earnings have come mostly from high-profile fights and endorsement deals. In 2023, he reportedly made €35 million from a knockout win over Francis Ngannou. Even after losing to Daniel Dubois last September, Joshua earned about €29 million in total, including pay-per-view sales.

From endorsement deals alone, Joshua earned the joint-highest in boxing alongside American YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.
Although Joshua didn’t make the top 20 list of highest-paid athletes in 2024, he still ranked 30th globally with €56 million in total earnings, €47 million from salary and winnings.
Meanwhile, Harry Kane ranked 38th with a net worth of €117 million, while tennis star Andy Murray was 35th with €128 million. Tyson Fury, though the highest-paid boxer this year with €137 million in earnings, did not surpass Joshua’s total wealth.
Joshua’s growing fortune shows how his boxing success and business moves continue to pay off.
