A pastor in Rivers State, identified as Elijah, has been arrested by the police for alleged homosexuality. Elijah, who serves as the General Overseer of a new-generation church in Port Harcourt, was apprehended after a video surfaced showing him in a compromising situation.
The video, leaked online, reportedly shows the pastor making advances towards a male acquaintance. According to sources, the man, who was allegedly being pursued by Elijah, secretly recorded their interaction and later released the footage.
A source, who asked to remain anonymous, shared more details about the incident. “We don’t know how the Octopus Strike Force of the Rivers State Police Command got hold of the video, but they began tracking the pastor. Eventually, acting on credible intelligence, officers trailed him to one of his regular hangouts and arrested him,” the source revealed.
