Google, the tech giant, is set to revolutionize Android phones globally with its latest AI innovation, Gemini Nano, serving as live scam detection to safeguard users from fraudulent activities.
Announcing this groundbreaking feature at its annual developer conference, Google unveiled a suite of AI-related updates aimed at enhancing user security and experience.
Gemini Nano, powered by AI, will now actively detect scam phone calls in real-time, issuing warnings to users and empowering them to steer clear of potential fraud.
“Google’s Gemini Nano will revolutionize how users interact with their Android phones, providing real-time protection against scam calls,” stated a spokesperson from Google during the conference.
Initially available for Google’s Pixel devices, Gemini Nano will soon be integrated into other Android phones, enabling advanced contextual understanding of various elements such as sights, sounds, and spoken language.
Moreover, Gemini Nano’s multimodal capabilities will extend to TalkBack, benefiting individuals with blindness or low vision.
