Popular Nigerian actress Shaffy Bello has said she is no longer interested in dating younger men, explaining that her values and priorities have changed.
In a recent interview with Ifedayo Agoro, Bello revealed that although many younger men still admire her and send her messages, she has decided to move on from that phase of her life.
“There is no need for me to date a younger man. I have dated a younger man and don’t want to do it again. When I dated a younger man, I was having fun. It was for a season, and the season is over” she said.
The actress made it clear that she has nothing against dating younger men, but said her current desires in life are different.
“What I want now is marriage; I don’t mind marriage,” she stated.

Bello also talked about the kind of messages she receives online, especially from men of different ages.
“Men slide into my DM, over 50 and even younger men. It’s flattering, but the thing is, some of them are badly behaved. Some will tell me ‘Hi, dear’,” she said, laughing.
She added that while many people see marriage in a strict way, she prefers a more open and flexible view.
“I think a lot of people are rigid when it comes to marriage,” she said.
Now focused on long-term companionship, Bello said she is ready for a more meaningful relationship and is no longer interested in dating just for fun.
