Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a new contract with Saudi Arabian football club Al Nassr, keeping him at the club until 2027.
Al Nassr announced the deal on Thursday with a photo of Ronaldo holding a jersey with “2027” written on it. He stood beside the club’s chairman, Mr. Abdullah Almajid.
Ronaldo, who also captains the team, shared his excitement on social media. He posted on X (formerly Twitter), saying,
“A new chapter begins. Same passion, same dream. Let’s make history together.”

The club praised Ronaldo’s leadership and called the extension a major step for both the player and the team.
Al Nassr said in a statement, “This is more than just a contract. It’s a continued partnership with one of the world’s greatest players.”
Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in 2022 and has since played a key role in raising the profile of the Saudi Pro League. His contract extension is seen as a big win for the league and Saudi Arabia’s efforts to grow its presence in global football.
