Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has released a new song aimed at actress Laide Bakare, as their online quarrel continues to make headlines.
The fight between the two celebrities, which had gone quiet for some time, returned this week with fresh insults and drama on social media.
In a video earlier this week, Laide Bakare warned Portable to stop talking about her.
“For all of you saying ‘ignore him, don’t answer him’ — No, this guy wouldn’t stop. You think it is only you that has a monopoly of madness?” she said.
She went further to threaten him with a traditional Yoruba slap, known as abara.
“If I lay hands on him, I’ll give him a hot abara,” she said angrily.

Portable, known for his dramatic responses, did not stay silent. He posted a video on social media showing himself dressed in a blouse and skirt, dancing to a new track titled D’abara Bomi, which directly refers to Bakare’s abara threat.
The song is seen as a mocking reply to Bakare’s warning.
Their latest argument started when Laide Bakare made a comment suggesting that young Nigerians should stay in the country because there are enough job opportunities, instead of traveling to countries like Libya — often referred to as japa, a slang for escaping the country.
Portable strongly disagreed with her opinion.
“Aunty Laide, you lie. Where do you see work in Nigeria? If there is work, why did you relocate from Nigeria? Are you still in your matrimonial home?” he said.
He also criticized her for accusing women of doing prostitution in Libya.
“Not all women in Libya are selling their bodies. Before you talk about others, check yourself,” he said.
