The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has predicted that President Bola Tinubu will win re-election in 2027, calling it a “done deal.”
Keyamo made this declaration on Sunday in Ughelli, Delta State, during a welcome event for Great Ogboru, who recently returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC) after leaving the party for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), where he contested the 2023 governorship election.
According to Keyamo, Tinubu’s administration is already making significant progress, and this will secure another term for the president.
He stated confidently, “The President has won 2027 already. Here in Delta State, we lost 2023 simply because many stakeholders left APC in anger. But now, we look forward to the future with much more certainty because the Olorogun Otega Emerhor-led reconciliation committee, together with the college of leaders, have worked very well in restoring unity to the Delta APC.”
Keyamo also predicted that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State would lose power in the next election.
“PDP will fall in Delta in the next political dispensation,” he declared.

The minister urged APC members in Delta State to continue working together and supporting the party’s leadership to ensure victory.
He said, “APC belongs to all of us. It is not a one-man party. No sole leadership in the Delta APC. We have collective leadership. And we have already got the presidential mandate to further reconcile the party in Delta.”
Welcoming Ogboru back into the APC, Keyamo described him as a strong and influential leader with deep grassroots support.
“He (Ogboru) has been able to sustain his sprawling political base for ages, even without federal power,” Keyamo noted.
Ogboru, in his remarks, expressed happiness about his return to the APC and called for unity within the party to strengthen its position in Delta State.
Ogboru said, “I only want to say that this house was built by us all. We are now building the house, even much stronger, bigger, and better. When we are united, divine blessings will come. APC will take over Delta to change the life of the people for the better. After all, a better life and good fortune are the hallmarks of democracy. Thank you, Mr. President. On your mandate, we stand.”
The event was attended by top APC leaders, including Delta APC Chairman, Chief Omeni Sobotie; Chief Otega Emerhor; Hon. Francis Waive, who represents Ughelli North, South, and Udu Federal Constituency; former APC Women Leader, Hon. Stella Okotete; as well as representatives of Senator Ede Dafinone, former Governor James Ibori, and Godsday Orubebe, among others.
