Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has welcomed his 14th child, his fourth with Canadian executive Shivon Zilis.
Zilis shared the news on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, February 28, revealing that she and Musk, 53, had a second son together named Seldon Lycurgus. However, she did not disclose when the baby was born.
“Discussed with Elon and, in light of beautiful Arcadia’s birthday, we felt it was better to also just share directly about our wonderful and incredible son, Seldon ♥️,” Zilis wrote in her post.
Musk responded simply with a heart emoji (♥️).
A Growing Family
Musk and Zilis first made headlines in November 2021 when it was revealed that they had secretly welcomed twins, Strider and Azure, just weeks before Musk’s former partner, musician Grimes, welcomed a daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl, via surrogate.
Two years later, on February 28, 2024, Musk and Zilis welcomed their third child together, a daughter named Arcadia. Celebrating her first birthday on Friday, February 28, 2025, Zilis wrote, “Happy 1st birthday, darling Arcadia. Mommy loves you with all her heart 💞.”
Blended Family and Public Attention
Musk, known for his large and complex family, shares three children with Grimes:

In September 2023, Grimes and Zilis openly discussed their shared family dynamics. Grimes acknowledged they had resolved differences over the circumstances in which they separately had children with Musk.
Zilis wrote on X in response to Grimes, “At the end of the day, it all ended up for the best! So glad we had such a wonderful talk, was insanely overdue. You’re a total badass, and I respect you very much as well. I can’t wait for kiddo playdates and congrats on baby Tau as well!”

Recent Controversy: Musk’s 13th Child with Ashley St. Clair
Musk’s 14th child comes just two weeks after news broke about his 13th child, a son named R.S.C., whom he shares with conservative author Ashley St. Clair.
St. Clair announced on February 14, 2025, that she and Musk welcomed a child together five months ago. She stated that she had kept the news private for safety reasons but decided to go public after tabloids planned to reveal the information.
“Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety,” she wrote.
Musk has not publicly commented on the matter. However, St. Clair’s representative, Brian Glicklich, later released a statement saying, “Ashley & Elon have been privately working towards the creation of an agreement about raising their child for some time.”
On Friday, February 28, a judge ordered Musk to appear in court on May 29 for a custody hearing regarding R.S.C.
Musk’s Early Fatherhood
Musk first became a father in 2002 when he and his ex-wife,Justine Wilson, welcomed their first son, Nevada Alexander, who tragically passed away at 10 weeks old due to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
The couple later had five more children:
