Popular Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has strongly criticized singer 2Baba for publicly proposing to Natasha Osawaru while still legally married to his wife, Annie Idibia. Maduagwu described the act as insensitive and accused the singer of being inconsiderate towards Annie, who is reportedly facing emotional struggles.
In a social media post, Maduagwu did not hold back his anger, calling out both 2Baba and the women supporting his actions. He went as far as branding such women as “witches,” arguing that a responsible married man should not propose to another woman so openly, especially when his wife is allegedly unwell.
“Any woman supporting what 2Baba is doing to Annie is a witch. A good married man will never propose marriage to another lady in public while his wife is allegedly not feeling fine and is going through a lot. Common sense is not common,” Maduagwu wrote.

Maduagwu also suggested that 2Baba’s public proposal was a deliberate attempt to gain attention and divert the public from asking deeper questions about his relationship with Natasha. He accused the singer of creating unnecessary drama instead of handling his personal matters privately.
“He needed all this attention and drama for his personal gain and to distract Nigerians from asking the right questions. 2Baba, when did you and Natasha Oni Kaba start dating? Was it before you and Annie separated or while still living together in one house?” Maduagwu asked.
The actor further challenged 2Baba to be honest about when his relationship with Natasha began. He questioned whether Annie was aware of the affair and if that knowledge contributed to any issues in their marriage.
“Did Annie know about it, and was that why her attitude changed towards you? Story plenty, I dey come,” Maduagwu wrote, hinting that more details might emerge.
