Renowned Nigerian music producer, Michael Collins Ajereh, widely known as Don Jazzy, has made a generous donation of N100 million to the newly launched Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) of social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan. The donation aims to support the NGO’s mission of improving public schools and fostering community development across Nigeria.
The NGO, unveiled earlier this week, has drawn attention for its focus on supporting communities and enhancing the quality of education in the country. However, shortly after the NGO received the substantial donation, VeryDarkMan raised concerns about the unexpected transfer and sought clarity on the source of the funds.

Taking to Instagram, VeryDarkMan shared his initial confusion and worry over the large sum that appeared in the NGO’s account. He called on Zenith Bank to look into the situation, stating, “@zenithbankplc please investigate my NGO account, I don’t know what is going on, hope I’m not being set up… I AM NOT INTO MONEY L^UNDERING I DO NOT DO FR^UD (FOR THE RECORD). Nigerians bare me witness I don’t know what’s up with the account.”
VeryDarkMan’s alarm was triggered when he noticed that the account balance had surged from N70 million to over N170 million without any prior notification. He explained, “Guys, yesterday I posted that I received N100m in my account, I did not receive alert, I did not receive anything, I just saw that the money has moved from N70m to N170m plus.” The unexpected nature of the deposit made him fear it might be an error or even an attempt to implicate him. “I panicked because I didn’t expect anybody to just send me N100m like that, so I felt it was a glitch or maybe they wanted to set me up,” he added, referring to the smaller donations of N50, N100, and N500 that the account had been receiving.
However, the confusion was cleared when Don Jazzy reached out directly to VeryDarkMan to confirm that he was behind the generous contribution. In a follow-up video, VeryDarkMan shared the message from Don Jazzy, reading aloud, “Morning Bro, just saw your post. Na me send N100m to support. I believe in what you are doing and trust you to be transparent as you have always been. We really need that in our country. I wish you all the best in your project and more blessings on you. E no easy.”
Don Jazzy, the CEO of Mavin Records and a significant figure in Nigeria’s music scene, highlighted his support for the NGO’s mission and commended VeryDarkMan’s dedication to transparency and integrity. His message of trust in VeryDarkMan’s work emphasized the need for transparency in community development efforts.
The donation has been met with widespread attention and praise on social media, with many commending Don Jazzy’s philanthropic efforts and VeryDarkMan’s commitment to using the funds for positive change. As VeryDarkMan moves forward with the NGO’s initiatives, the support from Don Jazzy is expected to have a significant impact on the organization’s ability to achieve its goals of improving educational infrastructure and fostering development in underserved communities across Nigeria.
