Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has shared his thoughts on playing under the team’s new coach, Hansi Flick, praising the German manager for giving the players more freedom on the pitch. Yamal, who has enjoyed a strong start to the season with Barcelona, says the team is having a great time under Flick’s leadership, which has resulted in positive performances.
In a recent interview with RNE, Yamal explained that the new coach’s approach has been a breath of fresh air for the squad. “We are having a lot of fun, and it shows,” he said. “Flick gives us freedom, and it makes us very happy to keep adding three points at a time.”
Barcelona currently sits at the top of the La Liga table, with Flick overseeing their impressive form since the start of the season. However, Yamal also noted that while the team is enjoying more freedom, the physical demands have increased. “It is true that physically you have to push harder, but when you recover quickly, your legs recover better,” he explained. “The team is more physical than last year.”

We are very happy for him. Hopefully, he will become the top scorer.”
Lewandowski’s recent performance, including a hat-trick against Alaves, has been instrumental in helping Barcelona maintain their top position heading into the international break.
