By 6 PM BST, Ronaldo’s channel had accumulated nearly double the number of subscribers as his long-time rival Lionel Messi’s YouTube account, which has 2.16 million followers. With 17.6 million subscribers at the time of this report, Ronaldo’s YouTube presence is poised to grow even further.
