The Kaduna State Police Command has arrested a notorious kidnapper, Abdulrahman, during an operation by the Anti-Kidnapping Unit. Abdulrahman, who hails from Karshi in Abuja, was caught with an AK-47 rifle and 27 live rounds of ammunition.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Mansir Hassan, confirmed the arrest in a statement on Wednesday. He revealed that Abdulrahman confessed to being involved in several kidnapping incidents in the Ikara Local Government Area of Kaduna State during interrogation.
Hassan emphasized that this arrest marks a significant breakthrough in the ongoing efforts to combat the kidnapping crisis in Kaduna State, which has been heavily impacted by such criminal activities. “The arrest of Abdulrahman is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the Kaduna State Police Command in ensuring public safety and bringing criminals to justice,” he stated.
