The Chadian military has achieved a significant victory against Boko Haram terrorists in the Lake Chad region. According to a statement from the General Staff of the Armed Forces, a commando unit of the Rapid Intervention Force (FIR) conducted air-land and nautical military operations in Litri, Kaiga-Ngouboua, and Kaiga-Kindjiria.
As reported by Zagazola Makama, a security reporter on X (formerly Twitter), these operations led to the destruction of five major terrorist camps, including Boko Haram’s main base in the area.

The operations resulted in the neutralization of over 70 terrorists. The Chadian forces successfully pushed the entire human and material apparatus of the terrorists out of Chadian territory, significantly reducing major terrorist attacks in the region.
This successful mission follows “Operation Lake Sanity 2,” led by the Multinational Joint Force (FMM) on Cameroonian and Nigerian territories, which drove Boko Haram terrorists into Chadian territory. The swift and decisive actions by the Chadian military have delivered a major blow to Boko Haram’s capabilities in the region.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces praised the effectiveness of the Rapid Intervention Force (FIR) in supporting the Defense and Security Forces in the fight against terrorism.
