Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has invited former Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) chairman Amaju Pinnick to his upcoming wedding. The news came to light in a TikTok video posted by Julie Pinnick, wife of the ex-NFF boss, showing Davido personally extending the invitation to Pinnick and his family.
Davido and his fiancée Chioma Rowland are set to officially tie the knot on June 25, 2024, in Lagos. This marks a significant reconciliation between Davido and Pinnick, who had a legal dispute last year.
In October 2023, Pinnick sued Davido and his music label, DMW, for an alleged breach of contract. Davido was accused of failing to perform at the “Warri Again” concert in Warri, Delta State, despite being paid $94,600, plus an additional $18,000 for a chartered plane fee. The situation escalated with Davido mocking Pinnick, leading to a N2.3 billion lawsuit against the singer.

Davido is set to wed Chioma on June 25, 2024. However, the invitation to the wedding and the warm messages suggest a positive future for Davido and Chioma, as well as a repaired relationship with Pinnick.
