Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has challenged Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State to a dance-off, hailing the governor’s dancing prowess as a reason for his admiration.
Speaking at the commissioning of the Government House VIP Lodge in Osogbo, Obasanjo expressed his fondness for Governor Oyetola’s dancing skills, emphasizing that he would continue to dance with him whenever they meet.
“Don’t stop dancing. But, please, also keep working. Work very hard to develop Osun State. Your state is one of the most secure in the country. Make sure you work very hard to make Osun great,” Obasanjo urged Governor Oyetola.
Obasanjo encouraged the governor to prioritize developmental projects that align with the aspirations of the people, emphasizing that such initiatives would attract investment and create job opportunities for the youth.
The former President commended Governor Oyetola’s commitment to infrastructure development in Osun State, urging him to continue delivering on his campaign promises.
In his response, Governor Oyetola expressed gratitude to Obasanjo for his leadership, service to the country, and support for his administration.
