Clara Chizoba Kronborg, Nigerian social media entrepreneur, has achieved the world record for the longest interviewing marathon, clocking an impressive time of 55 hours and 24 seconds.
Clara surpassed the previous record held by Rob Oliver from the USA in 2022, who managed 37 hours and 44 minutes, Clara’s feat was nothing short of extraordinary.
Hosting a talk show on YouTube, Clara engaged with 90 individuals from diverse nationalities and professions, spanning politicians, business moguls, content creators, actors, real estate tycoons, and more. The crux of her conversations revolved around unraveling the pathways to success for each guest, drawing insights and inspiration from their unique journeys.

Raised amidst modest means in Onitsha, Nigeria, Clara’s upbringing ignited her intrigue with the essence of success. Reflecting on her achievement, she articulated, “This record attempt was about bringing together diverse individuals, sharing their inspiring narratives, and forging meaningful connections on a global scale.” She emphasized her commitment to amplifying voices, particularly those of resilient women, to embolden others facing similar hurdles.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Marbella, Spain, Clara’s record-breaking endeavor unfolded aboard a docked yacht. Despite encountering unforeseen challenges, including an unanticipated downpour in the typically sun-soaked harbor, Clara remained undeterred in her mission.
“My voice became very hoarse and rusty,” Clara recounted, “but I powered through by staying hydrated.” Adhering to the rules of such marathon attempts, she availed herself of five-minute breaks per hour, during which she could rest, refresh, or attend to personal needs. To manage the copious water intake, Clara resorted to wearing adult diapers throughout the grueling ordeal.
“Even worse, my period started the same day, and I was already having intense menstrual cramps,” Clara disclosed candidly. “At some point, I was literally dripping pee and period stain, but I persevered and kept my eyes on the goal.” Her resilience epitomized a relentless pursuit of purpose, inspiring others to similarly pursue their aspirations wholeheartedly.
Enduring bouts of discomfort, including neck and backaches, Clara’s team provided reprieve through massages during her brief respites. Battling waves of drowsiness, each new interviewee injected her with a surge of energy, akin to a much-needed battery recharge.
Reflecting on her journey, Clara expressed disbelief at her newfound status as a record holder. “Recalling everything I went through physically, mentally, financially, emotionally – it feels so unreal,” she admitted. Yet, she remains deeply proud of her accomplishment, attributing it to the transformative impact on countless lives.
