Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has appealed to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to forgive him if they have any video clip of him spraying the naira in the past.
The singer made the appeal in a live video on Instagram on Wednesday. He appealed to the Nigerian anti-graft agency to forgive him for spraying the naira and promised not to repeat such an unconventional act again.
However, in the live video, Portable offers to transfer money to his fans and those who are in need. He urged them to open bank accounts. ”If it’s about money, open bank accounts, and let’s make transfers,” Portable added.

He asserted, “I use my money to build love. I used my money to build relationships. Did I spray money at the club? I was spraying money in the area where they need me.
“I didn’t deface the naira; I helped many people, after God na Government; please forgive me if you have videos of me spraying money, no more spraying of money.
“I help a lot of people; after God is Government, Please forgive me if you have videos of me spraying money; no more spraying of money.”
